What’s your company / job / “who” you work as?
The Good Trade, Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief

Your career purpose, in three words:
Inform & inspire women 🙂

What are you most excited about right now?
I’m so thrilled about the recent launch of our daily newsletter – The Daily Good!! The newsletter is a 30-second read of good things to listen, follow, visit, browse and read, curated by and for women. It’s been such a fun and inspiring project with so many incredible women following along.

What were some of the biggest obstacles you faced in the past year?
Burnout and overwhelm. I’m on the constant journey of learning to enjoy small victories, take quiet moments and savor all the joy life offers.

List the top habits that keep you feeling like you can take on the world:
Snuggling my dog! Yoga, mindfulness, therapy, nature and good food also top the list.

Any words of encouragement for someone trying to forge their own path?
I constantly remind myself of Steven Pressfield’s words: “Remember one rule of thumb: The more scared we are of a work or calling, the more sure we can be that we have to do it.”

It’s time to dance, and you’re the DJ. What music are you playing?
I Love My ’00’s R&B

If I could collab with anyone right now, it would be…
Mari Andrew (a most magical writer/illustrator!)

When I need to hit the “reset” button on my life, I…
travel with my husband or go home to Kansas City to spend a few days with my mom. 🙂

I can’t start my day without…
green tea!

I feel the most alive when I…
am at the beach with lots and lots of sunshine.

And lastly: what’s your biggest win this month? Brag about yourself!
Launching our new newsletter! Yay!
