Luscious Strawberry-Vanilla Power Smoothie

(gluten, sugar, soy, grain free w/ dairy-free option)  

Serves 1-ish

This smoothie is bright green, but don’t be tricked- it tastes like creamy fruity heaven.  It is high in protein, mega mineral-rich, and full of important brain-boosting Omega-3 fats! Now go get your drink on, lovebug.

Ingredients:

1 c. strawberries, fresh or frozen

2 dried prunes (to sweeten)

wee pinch of stevia

pinch o’ sea salt

1/3 c raw cashews, soaked in water

2 T. chia seeds, soaked in water

1 T. green powder (I like vitamineral green)

2 T. shredded coconut

1 t. Spirulina

1 T. protein powder (I like pumpkin seed powder)

1 t. bee pollen

1 T. hemp seeds

1/2 t. vanilla extract or powder

1 handful of greens (spinach and kale are good choices)

1/3 cp. plain goat-milk yogurt (or coconut yogurt / optional)

water or milk of choice to thin, as needed

Directions:

1. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Put on some sexy music, indulge.
